4L80e prices...

What kind of prices is everyone seeing for used 4L80's set up for 2wd? It seems like everywhere I look down here they want an arm and a leg for one that is sitting on the ground in an unknown condition, but want you to take their word that it's good.

Just trying to price out how much it's going to cost me to put a setup together for a possible swap in the '73.

Yah, looking around my area on CL it's a rollercoaster of prices, from 300 to a grand.
