Want to be part of the DV8Customs save my project program?

Great, all you have to do is purchase this fine piece of machinery listed below.

2006 Silverado
Automatic V6 with 125,*** miles
Manual locks and windows (you don't need that fancy stuff in a man's truck)

Body is in good shape with some small dings and some scratches, the sort of thing that builds character. Paint still shines up real well and it looks great from 15 feet still.

Needs front tires and the windshield has a crack in it. The crack is below my eye level so it doesn't bother me and it shouldn't bother you. The bare tires up front give you a great opportunity to hone your driving skills in the rain. Anybody can drive in a straight line.

Drop in bed liner keeps your engine blocks and deer carcasses from scratching the paint.

Check engine light has been on for about the past four years. Don't know why and it runs like nothing is wrong. I actually like the shade of orange that light puts out and wouldn't have it any other way.

All in all it is a good daily driver. Asking $7,000 OBO
If you are interested make me an offer, I would like to be able to keep the C10.

Note: interior is not quite that clean right now, that is from when i bought it. No tears or anything but there is more wear.

It's actually a good truck, needs a few things but it's a great daily. I listed my project truck for sale on another site but I would much rather sell this one than my project.

I know dude, if I had the cash I would be all over it. It looks slick, check engine lights dont mean **** to me. The part about engine blocks and dead deer scratching the paint was awesome.

Those are valid concerns here in Texas

In many counties including Travis and Williamson, the check engine light and cracked windshield = immediate fail.

That is because you guys have to pass emmissions test. Most places in Texas do not require emmissions testing

I don't know about the windshield. Mine was cracked in July when I got my sticker

THe following is brough to you by GOOGLE

According to the TXDOT rules and regulations manual the windshield is not an item of inspection so the cracks are okay.

Section 20.33 says
Vehicles presented for inspection
without windshields will not be required to have wipers. The
windshield is not an item of inspection.

They do have requirements for Commercial vehicles however

1. Inspect for and reject if:
a. Any crack over 1/4-inch wide
b. Any damaged area of more than 3/4 inch in diameter.
c. Damaged area is closer than 3 inches to any other
damaged area.
d. Any crack less than 1/4 inch wide intersecting with any
other crack.

SO if you pull that cracked son of a bitch out you dont even need to worry about buying wipers anymore.
