Been working on this wood bed floor today. Reclaiming old metal strips, drilling and chiselling out the old rusty bolts. Looks like I've got most of the pieces if not all that came with the truck. I'm leaving them red and rusty to match the rest of the truck. I used new hardware to mount the bed frame to the frame, then bought some one by eights and ripped them to factory width, cut to length and planed them down to five eighths inches. They are just laid in there right now, nothing is bolted down I just wanted to see what it would look like. I have some leftover honey gold Thompson's water seal that I am going to stain the wood with.
