Nice. I'll probably be gutting out what little is left in there. It appears from the pictures to have already lost the cluster and all carpet/interior pieces. It has two buckets seats lightly set inside and the shifter in place... other than that it appears to be bare. I'll probably take the car hauler down to Eugene on Friday to pick it up.

Side note, I probably saw her driving around Salem the other day. I didn't think she was down here, so I assumed it must have been someone else. If you need a shop to fiddle around with it in, I'm just right outside Salem on the east side and have the tools and room to work in if you guys need it.
Her boyfriend thought the car was cool enough, he sold his truck and bought a 1991 that is white.
Here they are in their garage....

I will keep the location in mind as it is an older vehicle and Max has had to go down to fix it twice now.

Is that a real Z28 Heritage? Nice!

Edit
I realize you said '91, so nope. But still cool.

I have definitely seen the boyfriends car around. I usually only bother to stop into In-n-out when I'm on my way back from beer league hockey in Sherwood at midnight, otherwise the line is stupid long and it isn't worth it

His car has had a bunch of upgrade stuff done to it from the previous owners.
I know it has Vette brakes on it as well as the 305 TPI engine has been swapped to a 350.
He has had it for a while now, but I have yet to see it myself.

They don't seem to come up here much.
However, they were here a couple days ago after some paddle boarding nearby.
They wanted to play in the yard on the toys.
I told them it would be dusty and smokie because both the runners smoke like they are 2 strokes.

Start of the riding...

Do you by chance play with a feller with the name of Jarred Osbourne?
He is one of my vendors that plays there as well.

I miss hockey season...

I'm guessing you've always been known as "the cool dad" in the area.

The name sounds familiar, but I'm terrible with names. I'm currently playing in the over 35 draft league, so its a different group of people every season. I think it's a holdover from my army days, but since no one is wearing nametags I have a real hard time remembering peoples names anymore.

That makes perfect sense.
I used to know all the Winterhawks names, more so now I know them by their numbers.

I might be better know as "that guy with all the old junk" to my neighbors.
But I don't really give a rip about them.
We have lived in this house for 25 years now and don't really know any of them but the super elderly family next door.
I went to a "Get to know the neighbors" BBQ a few years ago.
I was asked where I lived and I pointed to the house.
"Oh. You like all the old cars."
That was the last time I spoke to any of them really....

The one person in the area I talk too, just built a fence between our front yards.
I told him that is pretty much the end of us talking.
He looked offended and back peddled like it wouldn't hamper our front yard chats.
Nick, you are just over five feet tall and you built a six foot fence between our yards.
Do the math.

^^^^^^^^^^^^With all the help he has given to many of the kids around......more like Really Cool Bitchin Dad !!!!!!!!^^^^^^^^^^
I am making amends for my Pa always working and not really making time for us or our friends.
All they have to do is ask and usually I help out with advice or parts if I have them.
They all call or text me if they have a need I can help with.

Max's girlfriend Alisha, was looking for a better job as a welder as the place she was working was making "odd" decisions.
I hooked her up with a guy I know that is a union shipbuilder.
She called him and talked for a while and he was happy to help her if she needed it.
Alisha ended up finding a spot on her own before he was needed.
Now she is working in a shop that builds Coast Guard boats of all kinds.

It doesn't take much.
But I would go places and people would see me get out of the Suburban.
A conversation would start and they would say "Yeah, I know where you live."

We do live on a busy street that is a connector to some busy areas.

My brother who lives 35 minutes away at 55mph was talking to one of his friends about his truck.
The friend brought up a cool truck he sees on his way to work or something.
Paul the brother is listening and asks was there a yellow and white truck there with it?
Yup.
It was Max's truck the friend was describing.
Paul states "That is my little brothers house."

We might stick out in a time of cars that all look the same and are either white, black, or grey....
