1987 GMC r1500 vent window glass replacement.

How do I replace just the glass on the vent window. The glass shattered and just need to replace the vent window glass. Do I have to take the vent window frame off.

I'm pretty sure a good glass guy could glue in new glass with the frame installed. Now I didn't read chengny's link, so I'd check that out first. It just seems I remember having a glass guy glue one in for a guy several years ago and he didn't pull the door apart to do it.
