New to the forum and want to share my current project. It's a 1983 K10 6.2l deisel 4x4 swb single cab. Purchased truck for $800 runs and drives equipped with 350/th350 np208. All coming out besides to t-case.

Also got my hands on a wrecked 2003 silverado with the lq4 6.0l. 4l80e 2wd. for 1500 bucks.
I plan on using as much as humanly possible off the donor truck for the swap as possible.

Please feel free to advise, criticize, and comment on this build as you please.

on that 4l80, will you be able to make it 4wd easily? I don't now that much about transmissions sorry, never thought about a 2wd trans. Is it as easy as dropping the ass end of the trans off and getting the right adapter?

Thanks

depending on the amount of adapters avalible.. mabey. A lot of the time, you need to pull all the guts out and install a different output shaft.

But he could keep the trans 2wd and divorce the case.
