I have a 1979 sport truck 2 wd with the LS swap but had the granny 4 speed sm465
Shifts to slow for me
I am looking for input what trans would be the easiest swap, I am considering
Muncie 4 speed , 5 speeds are just two expensive.
Other considerations are 4l80e but have to consider the cost of changing radiator and crossmember, maybe drive shaft.
New trans needs to be strong as the ls has the 500 hp FITECH system
My hp is awesome.
Factory sport truck has wider rear brakes and 8 leaf's in rear springs
factory buckets and tach
