Ha. Close, but no. Here she is...
Except with fuel injection. That pic is from the builder. Need to make a few changes.

Bakersfield, Ca, Yup.
7” a year. US average 38”. Pretty dry out here.
Wiperless wouldnt cut it out here... Lol your in the same town my favorite nascar driver is from, nice!
That engine looks nice
Ugh... I work for the RR and take trips to desertfield. It is indeed dry there. And hot.
Got back on the C-10. We are officially down to the frame. Got the mock up done and the rear end is C-notched and the flip kit was installed for clearance issues and tore back down. Frame and parts going to powder coaters next week. With the 383 stroker and 700r Trans. I had to remove the 3.08 gears and go with the 4.10’s for some nice torque and smooth highway driving at 65mph at 2300 rpm. Should work nicely.
Harvick Country !!!!!
I like those numbers... that's the way to gear a 700. You have plenty of room for taller tires as well. Expect traction issues off the line
Been off the C10 for a couple weeks. During that time, sent the frame off for powder coating. American Fab in town did a great job on the (Semi Gloss) powder coating. The frame was the last “dirty” part. This is a turning point in restorations (or at least to me). From here on out, it’s all clean work and assembly begins.
Front end coming together nicely......
