Sweet. Love the old Ponchos..learned to drive in a 65 Catalina 389. I love the floating intake...it leaves room under it to hide a stealth nitrous system if you want. It looks like it will be a Sunday car show ride...

I'm sure he'll be entering it in the Fall car show where they live. Can't keep it in hiding, so many would want to see it.

Leave room in the back seat for the trophy.

Indeed, it's a winner for sure. He took it in yesterday to get the headliner installed. Said it runs really well and the transmission shifts nicely. I told him I knew it would.

Pop got the exhaust finished a couple weeks ago and last week got it back from getting the paint redone. I need to snap some photos of it when I go up there. The car is like it came from the factory. I think he's done the front end by now, or that's his next item, I forget. He's been tracking down electrical gremlins and running them out of the car. It's running a tad hot, so he had me look up information on the water pump divider plates. He will pulling that off and making sure it has the proper clearance to the impeller. He loves driving it, says it has more power than before with the +0.30 bore.

He has his 69 F-250 4x4 getting painted now after getting the exhaust redone on it last week. He cracked me up. He said he couldn't hear the truck running like he used to, so he kept almost stalling it after red lights, and had trouble with it bucking and such. He's had it loud for so many years he got used to the sound, now the pipes run out the back and he can't hear it anymore...lol... Outside it sounds good, though.
