First off.....IT'S NOT A ******' CHEVELLE! Sorry guys. I get that **** alot! It is a 1968 Buick Skylark. It took me 13 yrs to finally get one. Found it on craigslist of all places.lol. It has a small block buick, with a Poston S-divider intake Quickfuel 750, manifolds, turbo mufflers, and an unknown cam, but it is not stock. When I got it, the weirdo I got it from said " It used to look good with the Lakes pipes on it and the rear all jacked up". I laughed and cinched it down on the trailer to how low it would get after I got it home! He said "that aint right" and walked away!lol

Buick

I have to wait and get my other tires here but, I am going for the "new school" pro street look. I have a deist parachute, 62" wheelie bars and am gonna make a aluminum wing for it. On the wheel side I plan on getting these wheels beadlocked and eventually getting a tiger cage from ridetech. I am also going to order a 6" harwood cowl induction hood scoop. The rear tires are 325/50-15 which measure about 11.2" across. Everyone on the v8buick forum has had a fit about the size of the rear tires, telling me that they wont fit. It's rather hilarious!

The drag car look sounds like a really bitchin Idea. I can not wait to see the progress of that.

Nice Dragn !!! We WERE short a Buick fan here. We have the Olds and Pontiac fan covered, but didn't have a Buick fan yet. ManBearPig is working on a 77 FireChicken right now. I am hoping to have my 68 Olds 455 built for a squarbody truck someday, and Retro, well, he is Retro, he is all around GM GadgetMan, sometimes GM GadgetwoMAN depending on how much he is getting paid at the time. :laughing1:

It appears to me those are spoked Weld Wheels currently on the car now??? So its the offset that allows you to get that tire size under it and tucked into the wheel well huh?? Its got a nice stance in the pic. You gonna post some more pics? If so, post one from the rear. Lets see how wide the soles of those shoes are !!! :waytogo:

toys

Thnx to everyone for the replies. I do have a bunch of toys, from r/c cars to a shifter kart for my son, to a 1933 ford 3-window pit cruiser that I built with a 5hp motor on it. I also built a milkcrate cruiser out of an old electric wheelchair (thats what I used to do for a living). I will include a pic of the rear of my car and a pic of my son on his souped up powerwheel F-150 a few years ago, that was built out of an electric scooter transaxle. I'll get some more pics of the car as well. I have to mention that it has a 1800w stereo system in it also (good and loud)! I'll definately get pics of all my toys also. Once again, thanx for lookin. Billy
