Figures….it’s from Illinois!
Probably out of necessity since you can’t get an old truck bed that’s not rusted out!
Seriously though, not a fan. For a beat up woods truck? Sure slap on whatever fits. But for something that apparently is supposed to be pleasing to the eye, it sticks out like a sore peter!

I don't understand ANY driver or street truck that's jacked up so high that there's room for another tire and wheel in the gap.
But I also don't understand "laying frame"...makes about as much sense to me.

I'm with you! What I also don't understand is people who insist on putting big motors in their trucks, I mean they can only go so fast before it's illegal so what's the point?!? I just shake my head.

I'd have to say it's due to the monkey see-monkey do generation.

LOL...when I saw the title of the thread I saw it as 12' bed on a '81, so I had to see what a 12 foot bed looked like. I was expecting a goofy looking truck, and I wasn't disappointed, but for a completely different reason. Yeah, a 2012 bed a 1981 truck does not look good.

Yea, that's how I read the title too. Either way I'm not fan.

Here now, let's not step on toes!
I have an '86 patina dually that's getting a pump gas 565.
I'm tired of diesels just walkin' off and leaving me towing with my 454.
I don't just use my big inch engine to go a few miles per hour over the speed limit. I use it to get there quicker.

How much of that is attempting to recover paint costs?
People are disconnected from reality.
It looks horrible from any angle.

I wanted to puke at a twelve foot bed. Wtf?
