    Thanks for your advice man. I was able to find the mess of wires that were causing issues. There were three or four wires cut and taped together (very poorly I might add) under the dash that were causing the lights to come on.

    Yup, that did it! White wire disconnected killed the lights!

    As the title states, whenever I press the brakes, my running lights and interior light come on. However, they don't activate when I turn on the switch for them, only with the brake light. Am I correct in assuming this is a short somewhere? I've consulted the wiring diagrams but no dice.

    Maybe I'm just blind, but I can't seem to find a smog pump bracket anywhere! I suppose I could go to the pick a part but the closest one is almost an hour away. Does anyone know of anyone selling them on the Internet? Like I said, if nothing comes to mind it's no big deal. Thanks.

    If I recall the stickers correctly is an actron model 856, or maybe 858, I don't remember and I'm not home to double check, but I'll verify later.

    Therein lies the problem. The old toolbox it came contained no literature for it. It's not a big deal, I'll probably never use it but I thought I'd check it out.

    Could anyone help me connect my digital tach meter to my truck? It's one of those deals with volts, ohms, dwell, and tach settings, and I just can't figure it out! (like most of the time I'm sure it's dead simple and I'm just under thinking)

    Well as it turns out it wasn't sitting correctly and the lines were what was catching so I redid it and rerouted the lines. All seems to be lining up!
