    Pretty open. Not opposed to up to $1500. Been looking at Dakota. I am just really surprised at the lack of direct plugin options. I just really am not a fan of the idea of hacking up the dashboard wiring.

    I need an accelerator rod

    My local salvage yards are coming up empty. I need the rod for the accelerator pedal for my 76. Mine is broken off there the pedal attaches, so I just have the end of the rod on the bottom of my foot. Checked lmc, rock auto, and carparts.com with no luck.

    The doors that are on this thing literally have no place for a key to go. I nitpicked and cannot see any indication that there was ever a place on these doors for locks. I am going to be redoing the interior so I will be pulling the panels off to see if there was a place for the lock pull.

    Motor mount question

    I have a 76 C10 that came with a 454 from the factory but now has a 350. Do the engine mounts attach at the same location on the truck regardless of engine, the difference being the mount itself? Just got the truck and peaked around. I don't see any other mount holes for the original mounts.
