I am putting a digital dash into my 76, but I do not want to hack up the factory gauge harness. I am unable to locate an adapter using google, so I wonder if anyone makes one? Something I can wire my dash to, then plug it in under the dash and life is good. Anyone know if such a thing exists? I suppose I could just find a new connector, pull everything from the factory one and place into a new one. BUt, does not help me if I later want to go back to factory.

I'm not aware of an adapter that plugs into the factory harness.

But I do know that if there isn't one, it would be a great item for someone to produce. It would work on so many different GM vehicles.

I just used vampire taps, as much as I can't stand them. But I figured the small amount of power going through them for the dash it wouldn't hurt.
