    I'm putting a LQ4 and 4L80E (4WD) in an 84 GMC K2500 with a NP208. I hoping I'm not the first in history to ever do this. Any of you that have have any tips? I've been told that the 4L80E will bolt up to the NP208. I also read that the output shaft on the transmission is longer than the T400...

    84 GMC High Sierra K2500

    Just an unqualified guy building his dream truck. I've got the front end taken off ready to pull the engine. I have an LQ4 and 4L80E I will be putting in. This forum is great! So much information and none of the BS of Facebook. That is appreciated when you're trying to learn as much as you can.
