    I have a press fit style power steering pump. I am wondering if I can just get a Saginaw pump and roll on. I am chroming out the motor, and could really use anyones help that has done the pump switch....

    Yeah, im doing away with everything except transmission dipstick, and steering column coming thru. I have found an under dash brake booster assembly and a remote fill up reservoir.

    Does anyone know of a company that makes chrome windshield wiper motors? Or know how to conceal/hide the wiper motor, im shaving the firewall on my 76.

    Im working on shaving the firewall. Does anyone on here know how to remove the bracket that surrounds the brake booster? Unless its spot/plug welded on I am clueless

    So to touch back on this topic, what kind of 5 speed is there that I can put into my truck that will be ok with aftermarket wheels and 400 ish hp/tq on motor....... I don't care if I have to do a member swap etc etc because im doing major work anyways so that little wont be an issue.

    Thanks guys, I figured it would but I just wanted to before I bought the stuff. Im trying to be able to get another 1.5-2 inches of suspension travel by doing this.

    Has anyone done a blow thru turbo setup in these truck yet? Im really wanting to turbo my 76 and be different by doing it on a sbc. Any input on what works best etc would be helpful. Take into consideration I know I will have to build bottom end to handle it....

    hood hinge issue, baggin it

    My truck is a 76 model. I'm bagging it next week and can't find anyone who makes hood hinges to do away with the fender mounted factory ones. I'm also running 24" wheels so yes I do have to do away with factory hinges.

    Good thought but im bagging my truck next week, so the long tube headers will prohibit me from laying out. Along with the gas tank but that will be fixed shortly in the next couple weeks/month. Thanks though.

    Im in need of running shorty style headers here shortly when I bag the 76 next week. What kind of shorties can I run? Summit racing doesn't sell anything direct fit when I look up 76 c10 etc...... Is there another vehicle that runs the same dimensions as the 73-87 2wd c10?

    To lay complete frame you need to do a drop k-member, relocate the gas tank/ do a suburban/ blazer tank swap. Those are thing I have been told that prohibits a stock setup from laying frame.

    Im wanting to relocate the gas tank to the rear of the underside of the bed. now I know ill have to change tanks, but does anyone know what will work than the obvious custom made fuel cell? Ive heard people say that a k5 tank will fit with some mod to the frame, is this correct?
