    What is the length of a sm465/205 with a 12 bolt, And what's the length of a 465/205 with a 14 bolt? If someone could measure them if they are handy that could be very helpfull. That's one of the hold ups with my swap. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

    Befor they went to the corperate 10, they had a 12 bolt under the back of them. Other options would be a leaf sprung 9" Ford 8.8 (exploaders etc....)

    I would strongly recommend one or the other, I haven't used that carb first hand, but ive played with older holleys, and they have tweaked and made a better streetable carb with that one. I would go Q-jet over the holley, but would run both without hesitation

    depending on the amount of adapters avalible.. mabey. A lot of the time, you need to pull all the guts out and install a different output shaft. But he could keep the trans 2wd and divorce the case.

    Has anyone ever seen or ran 16x10 Steel repops with a dogdish and a beauty ring? I would go just dogdish, but as wide as the lip is, I was thinking a ring would make it look a lot better. And given the color scheme of my truck, instead of white, I'm probably going to go with a silver.

    Update, The car has been fighting me all summer in multiple areas, cooling,fuel,traction, etc... The Factory GM 3 core ended up just not being able to keep up to well. It would constantly be around 212, which is just to much for me.. So now it has a 2 core *1" cores* Dual pass all aluminum...

    On a 4l60/80 pretty sure they have a bypass valve for the cooler, On startup, the valve closes putting the trans into a closed loop to speed up the warmup process of the trans fluid, once the ECU sees the engine is at operating temp, or mabey its on a timer, I forget. But the valve opens to pass...

    depending on if the rear driveshafts are the same length. you shouldn't need to buy anything except for mabey a case of beer, and a quart of brake fluid if the k10 is hydraulic*you didn't specify*. Its all time. Its a direct swap. Unless its a Z-bar setup. people tell me the mount on the frame...
