    I couldn't wait until I do the rebuild/restoration of my truck. Exhaust leaks were hellacious! The passenger side manifold has seen better days. If I remember correctly, isn't the passenger/right side manifold the same as cars and 2wd vehicles.

    Looking for no bs, tested, quality vacuum caps..

    I had the same problem with those vacuum caps. A piece of hose a litle shot of Right Stuff, let it set up, haven't had a problem. Larger hose, put in a piece of round stock, check ball, what ever. Dab of Right Stuff, smooth it out, not as clean looking as the plugs, but they don't disintegrate.

    I have an OE camper special rear sway bar. Don't belive it will work on 1 ton, I expect it will work on 1/2 -tons. Don't have the end links and how ever they attach to the frame. Would expect an aftermarket bar would probably work better, but if your looking for the OE look.

    I just got way more than I was expecting for a cab I was planning on scrapping. Have an 8' bed off an M1008, lots of dents, rust wise it's probably better than average for this area. There asking 2K average for southern rust free beds. Idea's on a fair asking price?

    Probably will use an electric hydraulic unit, with a diverter valve. Then I can run the dump piston or plow. If I run a mechanical pump, it would be belt driven with the electronic clutch.

    My wipers have been acting goofy for awhile now, only in the intermittent position. Has anyone found a source or possibly someone that can repair the module. It looks like the 78-83 delay modules are like trying to find hens teeth.

    SM465 fluid - i used gear lube, maybe synthetic gear lube - what now

    SM465 is a pretty rugged transmission. That being said they are not the slickest shifting manual transmission, by any means. We use the Red Line MT-90 or 75 90 NS, in a lot of the older manuals. Auto Gear likes Driven racing oil, but that's harder to find.

    90% of the NP208 fork issues are caused from a missadjusted shifter. That being said, did you disconnect the shifter and try to put it in 4 lo under the truck!     I'm pretty sure you have the correct combinations there, you should be good to go. The short input NP 205 ,earlier figure 8 bolt pattern, takes the longer car or B.O.Y. 400 output shaft.

    Speedo gone wild

    I drove it Saturday morning, over night it got down to 26 or so. Seemed to work good, it did jump a few times in the driveway. I don't know that it gotten cold enough to call it fixed or not?
