I just got way more than I was expecting for a cab I was planning on scrapping. Have an 8' bed off an M1008, lots of dents, rust wise it's probably better than average for this area. There asking 2K average for southern rust free beds. Idea's on a fair asking price?

I should have made a trip up to the north. I had a 9 out of 10 bed I just sold for $350. Could have paid for a vacation!!

I'm of no help in pricing though, sorry.

I had a guy offer me $3500 for my cab and $2000 for the bed. Hard to build a truck without either/or, so wasn't interested. lol

I have seen decent fixable beds for $800-1000 though.

I've got a complete frame sitting in the back yard I want to get rid of. It has both engine and trans crossmembers, full front/rear suspension and fuel tank brackets - no tanks. I can't even get people to look at it for $500. It's a lot different down here than up where the rust is, as I'm sure you know.

I just parted out an 84 to use in my 70. Box was rough and couldn't get a call at $75. Ended up pulling it apart to keep the near perfect floor. Cut a filler door for TheFishBox 's project, and scrapped the rest. Finally got $50 for a good cab and frame.

You must be on the other end of Tennessee.
Northeast Tennessee! Bought a set of doors off a guy and he wanted the bed out of his way and just offered it for 50$.

I bought a whole 76 k10 for 300 bucks a couple months ago.
Frame is solid, long bed is perfect, cab didnt have an once of rust, but it was missing the passenger side if the firewall, had fenders hood and core support, trans and transfer in place, 10 rims and tires (4 of which were brand new), and the whole truck bed full of parts. I thought it was a good deal.
Just recently bought a new cab to replace the one without a firewall.
Got cab, with the whole interior, fenders, hood, core support, wheel wells, both gas tanks, the leaf springs, and 2 rims, all for 200 bucks.
Also got a free small block and 2 th350s for free from my boss. Stuff is pretty cheap out here.
If anyone wants a perfect, rust free, black, 76 silverado cab, missing part of the firewall, and full 76 front clip, let me know.

In AZ, a good fleetside 8' bed is $400 - 600 from what I have seen. I currently have a 6' bed listed on CL for $600.

You can buy a new aftermarket bed for probably $2k?

These truck have gotten very popular here the last few years. We should sets something up. Not sure if there is anyone around that brings up rust free square parts as a business. There was one guy I talked to a few years back, southern 8' dual tank fleet side bed $1200.00. He wanted all up front! Belive it or not I passed on that. We'll see what happens!
