Cold start sounds interesting.
This is my first carbureted vehicle, so forgive me, but should it sound like this after first starting it afert 8+ hours? It was about 30°F this morning. http://soundcloud.com/terry-allen-jr/79-gmc-sierra-idle You can hear it go into high idle shortly before the end.- fireball517

Blower motor!
Well now that my damn truck has decided to have the blower motor go the hell out, and its on average this week 26 degrees, I don't know what the hell to do. Checked the relay you can hear it click + voltage checks out, the motor I just pulled from a local pull a part and installed it worked...- fireball517

How tight a fit?

I've recently bought a '79 GMC Sierra Grande and have noticed quite a leak of ATF. The person I bought it from told me it was there but a slow drip.
