Cold start sounds interesting.

This is my first carbureted vehicle, so forgive me, but should it sound like this after first starting it afert 8+ hours? It was about 30°F this morning.

You can hear it go into high idle shortly before the end.

Perfectly normal.

no it should not sound like that. choke or high idle is miss adjusted. you have several cylinders not firering. highdesertranger

Sounds just like a cold engine with a lil cam. Normal as could be... mine does the exact same thing every cold morning I just stand there smiling... then it idles up l let it run another 10 and roll off. Just keep easy on the throttle till engine temps are up to the norm.
