no it should not sound like that. choke or high idle is miss adjusted. you have several cylinders not firering. highdesertranger

Sounds just like a cold engine with a lil cam. Normal as could be... mine does the exact same thing every cold morning :) I just stand there smiling... then it idles up l let it run another 10 and roll off. Just keep easy on the throttle till engine temps are up to the norm.
