Quick question- I did a search and didn’t find anything but know it’s been mentioned- my truck is an ‘81, a guy gave me a passenger side window but it appears thicker. Also, the blue of the Soft-ray looks a little darker but hard to tell exactly on the garage. I did see guys like @Redfish had... -

Need help identifying 12v wire for electric choke
Shouldn’t there already be a wire that comes from the oil pressure sending unit? Unless it’s gone for some reason. I only know because when I got my truck, the wiring was a disaster. Apparently the choke gets power after oil pressure is sensed, then receives power.- ChuckN

Hey Keith- Sorry for the question that may be obvious to some, but did all the trucks use the same wiring harness? As in, if a guy got all the hardware (cruise box, stalk, Speedo cables etc) is the wiring already on the truck? Thanks in advance. Chad- ChuckN

Since the knee has me somewhat sidelined, took my mom out for lunch and finally got that damn good chocolate malt I’ve been after. Boomers Drive-In doesn’t disappoint. -
Really tight front brakes!
Start soaking the hard metal line/rubber hose junction now with some PB Blaster. It’s not always a problem but it can be, especially if your truck has seen road salt. -

Exactly. I went from the stock (orange I think) springs in mine, no change with the bog. The 1906 already has a bigger accelerator nozzle than the 1406, and I’m on the most aggressive setting. Before I mess with it any more I’m going to wait for the AFR gauge to eliminate the guesswork. There...- ChuckN

What new tools have you got lately?
Got a fluid pump for the differential fluid from hobo freight. Had one at one time, must’ve given it away or it failed- nice to have a pump to put in a bottle with a tube to pump directly into the diff, very little mess. -

I have the 1906 on my 355 SBC. It’s pretty much bolt on, minor adjustment and run it. It does have a hesitation if I go from low cruise mode to WOT. Common complaint. On the AVS series, there is an air door over the secondaries- that is because they are an annular booster, and requires air...- ChuckN

Today, I’ll be returning the non a/c heater boxes that were given to me, to their rightful owners. All the internals were really corroded beyond reasonable use, and what initially was a fun project to tinker with, took on a life of its own. I would’ve had to source most of the internal metal... -
