Replacement Cab

Im in South Florida trying to get my 83 GMC C15 stepside together and running but the amount of rust on the cab is way out of my league and no one in this area touches rust that I’ve found. Do you have any leads on a replacement cab? I’ve been checking the Facebook groups.

You may come out ahead looking for non running trucks etc. Try to find just a cab you will probably run into things where someone stripped it down then found themselves in your position so decided to sell.

Trucks like this pop up around me a lot the floors are decent but it needs some corner work. This one was marked $1000 but they took $750 to move it

I live in Elkhart, Texas. A little town of 1300 people in East Texas. Vehicles here don't rust and square bodies abound here. There are at least 4 "non-runners" that I know of, probably a lot more on the back roads. I suggest you quit trying to find just a cab and go for a more complete truck. If you don't already own one, buy, borrow, or rent a trailer and "come getcha one"...
