Next week I am going to my favorite boneyard to see if, by chance, one is hanging out on a hood that looks really good and just waiting for me to find it and give it a good home. Also going to get some of the white door panel attachments. I ordered a "replacement" and it isn't the same dimensions so will not go in the slot.well, i was in a pinch and was able to find some cheap parts store trim. I got the 1", there's even some that will curve around your hood. I had put this on my truck for temporary for a car cruise, but had kept it on because it is a good replacement. Only problem is that i see a little bit of old glue residue from the cab on the inner lip, but only i'll see that.
But i have also searched and searched and searched and it is indeed a rarity. Best hope is 1 in a 1,000,000 ebay post or a swap meet. Couldn't find anything good online OEM or replacement for the Squares. . .

Cant someone just use bulk / universal molding you can buy online to do this? Its a common door edge, panel edge addition and can be had in various sizes.Not sure why they have not reproduced this piece. ) and I was right, my truck had the molding on the hood. Well it still is there, but its not on the truck. If you wanted a used molding then I have one thats not busy
