OK, I did some basic math, and with help from Mrs Radiohead (think of her as Congress, except she gets things done AND has power of the purse [literally]), it was decided that if I wanted any money for go-fast I needed to trim expenditures. No, not allowed to run deficit spending here. So...

It was a beautiful day for a trailer pull and even better getting to pop my cherry for the Square Body Ranch, in Ridgefield, WA. Boy, talk about a fun yard. Squares, squares, everywhere a square. Almost like squarebody heaven. Chad has over a hundred residents in various states of recline, and the dude is super helpful and a pleasant guy to boot.

So, I highly recommend giving Chad a call (360 921-4653) and a visit for your □ parts needs. He hooked me up with a whole 'nuther differential assembly in 3.73 and I also picked up everything for the parking brake system, from pedal to backing plates for a reasonable price. And a couple other gadgets and gizmos on the house. The dude is a solid, stand up guy. Unless you're one of those Craigslist flakes that wants pictures of everything. Don't be that guy. ;)

Thanks Chad, now I have a heavy project for the beautiful days of spring. And maybe this is the year it gets back on the road.

Not enough in a long time to many other things to take care of . So I checked off 3 things this week . Mom is taken care of , oil change . Installed door regulator for her . Changed schrader valve on her ac pulled a vacuum recharged system . But I managed time for me and the square . Havnt gotten to my loose tilt column yet , but I needed a seat to set in . A must to work on the column for me . I've got a new steering wheel as well . Will get to that next time . But I got my floor done carpet and seat and cab door rubber in .

After years of not running (lack of time) I did an oil change and spark plug change on Friday then had a sudden loss of all power when I tried starting the truck to pull it back into the garage. So today I went back and put a new battery in and new negative battery cable. I also put a fuel door back on it and installed the tailgate. Currently trying to get the truck ready to be a daily driver as my wife is going back to work at the beginning of the school year.

Pulled the Harwood scoop and cut the hole wider in the front. It's not pretty but it clears and shuts nice. at some point I might have to hit AMD up again for a replacement and make a nicer hole, it's a bit longer to the rear than it needs to be due to the taller velocity stacks that used to be on it, but the taper to the rear and the front spacing is great.

I got my stencils painted on, tailgate reinstalled, rear bumper reinstalled, license plate light wired in, front shocks and steering stabilizer installed, reinstalled filler neck. Undercarriage painting is obviously completed. Rear shocks have to be the 12" travel ones; I'm still waiting on those. Mocked up the front tires - I'm getting antsy. Gotta get a little more raptor to do the doors and under the cab from the frame out. Floor mat is upstairs in the loft flattening itself out. We are getting close.

Pulled the rest of the decent parts off the C30 and brought it in for scrap. Then used the funds to buy bucket seats from a 2014 ram and a center console from a 2013 silverado to replace the bench in the suburban.

Not much, spent part of the weekend fixing the water in my barn to find I have next to no pressure and I screwed it up somehow.

Did get the brake pedal assembly and master painted, my donor cab definitely sat in water for some time lol. Didn't get to get it installed because I had to go empty out our cottage yesterday.

Going through what I removed when I pulled the intake manifold and came across this on the distributor! How did this even work! Not sure but I believe I wasn’t far from a breakdown.

Drove it today. Motivated my son by telling him we could cruise in the truck with the flag on it. I really, really wanted to cruise yesterday with the flag, but rain is cramping our style out here like a mutha thes days and couldn't take the cover off on actual Memorial Day. Today I had a chance and the boy and I rode with it, then it started raining on the trip home from Nanas. Now it has to get rained on tonight...could be worse.

Yeah I wanted to clean my '05 up and toss the flag on for Monday but the rain said no dice

Power steering pump had been squealing a bit (belt was tight and fluid level was fine) and finally developed a major leak. Pretty sure it was the OEM pump from 1978 so it earned a rest! Replaced it with a Lares pump from Rock Auto. I have no idea what the fluid was in the old pump, it resembled 10W30 motor oil to me? I haven't serviced the system in the 3 years I've owned the truck. The previous owner had replaced the pressure line and I'm guessing they likely re-filled the system with whatever they had handy.
I changed all the other fluids (engine oil, transmission, transfer case, both diffs and flushed brake system) when I first got the truck but forgot the PS system!!
Flushed and bled with ATF now and no leaks.
When I get the time I'll get a rebuild kit and see if I have the skills to revive the OEM pump. Building up my inventory of spare parts to hopefully keep the old girl running for a LONG time.

Very cool, Jrgunn5150, you must have a huge printer. How long did those take to print?
You can just break files into pieces. I have 2 Bambu P1S printers and a Bambu H2D, but nothing fancy is required for this.

For this, as a mock up, I just super glue it together, it's not a functional or structural piece.

In real life time, it'll take about a week, probably 40 or so hours. Beauty of a 3d printer is, that it works when I'm not there, so it doesn't take much of my personal time at all.
