ok thank you will try that, it’s a brand new pump but i got it from rock auto so guess it could be a bit cheap and not very good. got a brand new master cylinder for my satellite off them recently and that was faulty when i fitted it as well- medxsa13

I’ve had my ‘76 c10 over for a few months and got it running nicely at the beginning of last month, haven’t done loads of journeys in it but the ones i have it’s been running so smoothly and pretty reliably. Hi i’m trying to sort the wiring on my ‘76, focusing on the lights at the moment. The rear lights i’ve connected as they weren’t connected before but i’m confused where the earth is meant to be? i can see it on the wiring diagram but there isn’t anything coming off the back of the light on...- medxsa13

ok this makes a lot of sense, thank you. i have a master cylinder spare for my 73 satellite, not sure if it’s a dumb question but could i use that one or do i need to buy a specific one for the truck? also is it better/easier to buy a new one or rebuild the one on? -
