    my 1987 1/2 ton Chevy is stalling our after a few miles. Won't restart until I let it set and cool down. Its jerked a couple times going down the road, but not stalled. I plug in a code reader and get a code 34 (see attached pic) MAF (mass air flow sensor) MAP (Manifold absolute pressure)...

    Speedo not working

    1987 Silverado V10 4x4 700 trans, 3" lift 33" tires Speedo gear in transfer case is good, can spin cable from transfer case end and speedo needle moves in both directions. Guessing stock speedo gears at 45 mph (guessing of course) speedo may go to 10-15mph Thoughts?

    Drivers window binding on 87' Silverado

    Power window on drivers side goes up slow (drops fast) they binds up last 2". Seems to be in both tracks, felt is inline, tracks are greased. The motor gear grinds when it gets with in the 2", I'm afraid its going to strip out over time.

    no holes in tailgate, its a aftermarket replacement. My fear is in building a templet is there is some "play" in the band and placement on the tailgate. But may be my only options.

    OK, I have a new aftermarket tailgate on my 87 silverado 1/2 ton, and want to add the full tailgate band. I need to drill the (4) holes through the tailgate to attached the band, but don't have a template or is it available from USA1. Ant thoughts or templates out there?

    Best vendor? aftermarket? OEM?

    Just bought a 1978 Silverado 4x4, trucks 85% done, paint, motor, drive train etc. Need to start replacing some switches, badging, chrome, interior panels etc... Who's the best vendor to go to? or do they all buy from the same Chinese manufacturer. Thanks!
