I feel kind of the same way. The truth is, I do not want a RCLB 4x4 Square Body. I would rather have a RCSB or RCSS 2WD since it's not going to be a work truck. There is no point in swapping my cab over to a short bed frame or cutting the existing frame down when it already needs so much... -

Soft Spot Cars
I guess I don't really have one, anymore. At least if I am understanding the meaning behind "soft spot cars". If you had chance to do a extreme mod to your truck what would it be?
I've never been, nor will I ever be, a tree hugger. However, the idea of wasting fuel in "rolling coal" just doesn't appeal to me. Opinions on exhaust.
All I can say is stay away from Patriot Headers. I had those on my S10. There wasnt enough clearance between the tubes and head bolts to get in there and tighten everything up properly. I am sure the new owner will MF me if he goes to take them off!- Jaymez

FWIW, when we put the motor and trans in my S10, the nose was removed and we had one chain going across the top of the motor from the front of one head to the back of the other head. -

The easiest way to pull a motor is to use a plate sold in most parts stores that bolts to the intake in place of the carb. -
Steel Cowl Hood Source
