I went to a junkyard yesterday.... looking for parts to start the restoration on that 81 Chevy K20. When I was there i came across a 68-72 Chevy K20, 4 speed Truck. The body was near perfect except for the tailgate and cab corners. It got me thinking... i love that bodystyle also... never owned one... should i bail out of the 81 K20 and go after the old Chevy? I wish i took pics but i didnt. Someone had started restoring it but i guess gave up.

I like that body style too, but I would have to keep them both!

Well I would keep the best of the best, or make a plan to fix one up and sell it soon down the road for more than you could get out of it now.

I'd restore them both. Got any pics of all your trucks? Maybe we can decide which one to get rid of so you keep both the 67-72 and the 81.

Unfortunately the 3500HD is golden and cant leave. I need that truck everyday during mulching and plantings etc. The big 98 was my first truck. But the only one i can let go is the new GW 98. But having that 2nd plow truck is good just in case.

That's a hard one to give an opinion about. I say toss the 98 plow truck, if ya' really need a 2nd plow maybe you can rig up a blade for this 67-72 if ya' get it.

I'd rather have a 68-72 over a Square, myself.
