When was this? The early AT3 had quality issues, and were not as good as the revision AT3 which came out like 2018 ish I think, times been a few years but if you had the original with the edge of the tread having a continous border around the circumference, vs the models now have an alternating one,
the pic from @SK 99 is hard to tell but this may have been the one im talking about which didnt have the alternating.

The top pic where it's separating was the one I had. That lower tire I think is just a different model, I believe that's like AT3x or something. If you find an add in like the 4wd magazines you can see the whole family of tires there like 4-5 of them. I bought the two fronts a little over a year ago to replace the blown out one and other worse one. And I had them I think about 3 years so that would of put my purchase of the set about 2018ish. I could look to get the date for sure.

You are absolutely correct, I bought the tires in 2017, and the replacement tire they gave me last year when the defective tire failed is the "updated" AT3 and looks slightly different than the original.
Well I see this...guess I'm wrong. I'm not a Cooper expert but I would have to get a "GOOD" deal again for me to go back to a Cooper tire after getting screwed on that set I bought. All around they were not a good set of tires. Had way better success out of the cheapest tires I could buy from like Discount Tire Direct, random eBay sellers selling china tires or Tires easy or simple tire online.

Right now I have a pair of septor tires that replaced the first two I got rid of out of the Cooper set. I forget what I paid for them but I am happy with them so far. Just a highway tire, but that's 98% of what the Highlander does for me. The other pair to replace the last two coopers is just cheap Douglas tires from walmart.com. they don't seem to be lasting as well as the China tires I bought, but those had better tread rating than the Douglas ones. But the Douglas tires are made in USA, I believe by Goodyear. I'd I remember right the Douglas tires were about $65 each for the size on my Highlander at the time I bought them.

That's the old school BFG tread pattern right? Where did you find those. Didn't think they have made those in several years...maybe half a dozen at this point. Whats the production date on those?

'73 SS Wagon, 2bbl 350, th350, highway gears, had been off the road since the 90's. There's a thread on it somewhere in the other vehicles section.

I had Grabber HT tires on my Sequoia. I was happy with the price and wear I got out of them. Pretty much what was advertised tread life. Only difference bis that I had to run them to almost nothing, not just to wear bars.
