Need Seat Help!

I think I messed up...somehow. I've been restoring my truck, and when I got the truck, it had no seat brackets on the bottom of it. That's fine, so I ordered some from somebody. Now when I go to put them up to the seat, I have no idea how these are supposed to mount up. Nothing lines up. Its a bench from an 81. The brackets, I don't know what year. I feel like I'm missing something on the bottom?

I believe those brackets are for 73-80 seats due to the handle being on the side. My 85 has it in front of the seat.

That explains it. Dang. I guess I gotta find new brackets. Thanks.
