Now you can only load the pallets from rear... mistake. :p

Looking good though. I am not sold on the rear corners yet but the headache rack has started to sway me toward thinking this was a good idea. lol

I don’t need to load pallets, mostly going to be used for dirtbikes and quads and occasionally pulling my wife’s camper which is the reason for the corners of the bed. I could probably fit an entire side by side on the bed also, or close to it if I made some tire holders for the back.

You could still load skids from the side.
I don't think you'd get 2 wide on there, though.
Regardless, I think it looks good. It's weird how much unique style it adds to the truck.

I suppose I should also mention I work for my families Sod farm and have any kind of equipment needed to load or unload about anything I’d want on there with ease. My real reasoning on this was if something started shifting sideways like a dirtbike rear wheel, it wouldn’t fall off.

Right on. I get why you did those rails. It's a good idea. They look good, too.
It depends what you want to use your bed for. You always need a lip, though.

I like how you matched the headache rack to the cab shape!

Had it parked in a friend's shop so I could paint the rest of the front end metal. Drove it home.

Thanks, I was really debating if I wanted to angle the top also to follow the roof line more, but I figured it’d be a little too busy and not as simple as I’d like. If I get to thinking too much, sh*t gets weird lol!

Tried for the third time to mount my rearview mirror tab, the last time I let it sit for two days before mounting the mirror to it, I could grab the mirror and adjust it, all was good. Drove down he road about 5 miles and it fell off [emoji35]. I need to come up with something, it’s just pissing me off now! I’ve spent the money on 3 different glues that are made for this!!! I even tried using brake clean on the last attempt rather than rubbing alcohol and so far this was the most successful.

It's not always the longest lasting stuff, but damn, that's unlucky.

When I got my '78 Burb, the mirror tab had fallen off and the PO had a package of the Permatex glue kit in the glovebox. When I went to install it, I found the glue kit had dried up. I looked at it and there was a little bit of useable product, so I gave it a whirl anyway. It's been about a year and it's still holding.
