Here's a pic of the fluid in mine after I looped the lines and put about a half bottle of new in - can't get all the old out.

LOL - I think the picture makes it look worse than it is.

Buddy of mine says it ( these leaking ) is common - my jury rigged test tonight did not make it look like it was leaking , but hopefully the radiator guy can test it for real .

EBay has a 27K mile used one for 40 bux - may have to glom on to it JIC.

To flush it you might try like you should flush the clutch fluid with a serenge. I made a video for that a couple years ago. It works well if you have a standard. Here it is.

God damit! I don't know why I keep hitting post reply. Wtf? Anyway wanted yoko's and they didn't have any in stock. So it's 275/40/17r's for $410. Nitto's are a softer tire than I wanted but, needed it now so whata you do? **** me again. Lol

Well it's the oil gauge that's bad so here we go again. Not in a hurry to replace so **** it for a bit! Gonna drive the **** out of it this holiday weekend. Lol

Getting the cluster out is easy !

Dunno about taking it apart - never done one.

Anyway , seems like it is 4 screws and no electrical to fool with - it just plugs in to a receptacle in the back of the dash.

I have kind of been doing it like that with a Northern Tools hand transfer pump.

In fact, that is what I used to change the fluids in the diffs on Goldie.

I ordered the ebay one and will probably take the old one apart to see if it is a bad oring or something.

I may do another flush before I put the new one on.

Mr Radiator man confirmed the old one was leaking, and he did not know how to fix it.

Boo.

Get your cluster out yet ?

No not yet. Just wanted to drive it this weekend first and not worry about it. Fixed the blinker bulb today so I'm good to go. Man this MF runs so good now. Tuner didn't put it on a dyno but, rates it about 400hp which is about what I thought it was producing. I mean fixing the intake, exhaust leak, knock sensors and retune after new computer. This thing is so much faster and responsive than ever.
I've spent a lot on it in the last 2 months and ready to enjoy for a while. Lol

Cool !

Mine is relatively stock - a few free mods, Borla catback, Hypertech, and a 2800RPM stall converter.

Runs decent , but with 139K on it kind of is feeling her age. I still swear it ran faster with the old knock sensors, but could just be me.

Plus, 320 HP (factory rating) ain't what it used to be - Dam near got pulled by a Dodge diesel quad cab a few weeks ago coming back from my folks.

Unbelievable how you can make a 6 banger diesel run ...

Got it cleaned up and took it for a nice ride on the country roads so I could give it a good punch without worry if cops. Lol
It did not disappoint. So much nicer with the crack in the y-pipe welded up. See if I can't get a video of it tomorrow and y'all can hear it when I get on it good. Lol not sure how I like the look of 2 different brand tires on it but, I do like the way it rides and handles with all new tires. With the strut tower brace it corners like a MF with no body roll. Got sub frame connectors on it too that I'm sure helps. Maybe cruise down to the beach t-topps off if it's NOT too hot.
