Should I paint the horns?
Anyone have a color idea?
I’m feeling like I have too much black going on
I was thinking about it and the interior might have too much black too...
I have black carpet
Black dash pad
Black seats...
Anyone have an opinion on the pillar plastic trim color I should paint em?

I like the looks of the off-white pillars and headliner in the 70's trucks, but it's hard to keep clean.

Reason i said this is because they arent easy to come by.... others may want to buy it. I have troublesome intermittent wipers and scored one at a swap meet but never got to put it in. So from now on if i see one at the junker yard im snatching it up.

Right, for plug and play, you would have to update all the wiper components to '78-'83.

I had the harness from the 78
But I feel like I’d rather look for the resistor style or the little box that you wire in and it adds a delay

Yeah, the little aftermarket delay box I put in mine recently is really handy. I haven't looked to see if anyone still makes them. Years ago I converted my '77 with the rare intermittent wiper option. Of course it didn't work so I got the switch and module from a '78, assuming it would work because the switch appeared the same. After taking my truck apart, it was apparent that it wasn't going to be that easy and it snowballed from there.

Someone posted a box the other day
It needed to be wired but had three delay options
And was about 60-80 bucks When winter rolls around again I’ll probably look for it

I'll have to see if mine is still in production somewhere. It's infinately adjustable for 2 to 20 seconds. I actually had another one, but I haven't seen it in years. I've looked everywhere too.
