Hello, I'm looking for this piece for my Early 1982 Red Block 6.2 Diesel, It was only used on the 1982s Maybe the 1983s... It's for the Rear Drivers Side Glow Plug Controller, and No I'm not converting to Manual glow plugs.

Images from a friend, If you have one & want to sell Let me know, I have PayPal Thanks.

You're looking for the flange and not the controller?

Yes Sir. There's a guy on FB I found one with but Not sure what he wants for it. I only have a little bit of cash to work with, (I think $30-40?) I just ordered a NOS Rocker Panel for my K10... $180! Have to order a Steel Floor Pan next and hopefully still have the cash for this.

Figures. I have controllers. Murphy's law at work.

They were used thru '84.

Actually, the one in the pic looks a little small. Possibly a later one for the glowplug temperature cutout. I'm fairly sure the controller has a bigger thread. Make sure you're getting one with the right thread.

I ordered this Controller here https://www.ebay.com/itm/82-84-GM-C...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 B/c it was $29 cheaper that AccruateDiesel was and said "higher quality replacement for your failed, factory unit. Built with better internal components and better insulation" lol... Ofc right?

Not sure on the Thread size... I didn't even know I needed that Flange bracket thing, I thought it just screwed into the block Apparently not. lol
I might have it in my Tubbaware of 6.2 parts I was Sent along with the engine.

Ah yes Correct, He did post a picture of the smaller one with that Temperature cutout on it. So If I'm correct I need the Top Picture one?

I just grabbed one and measured it. Looks like about 1/2" pipe thread, so probably fits in the same piece as the cutout switch. I always thought they were bigger. It's been a while.
