Yeah- no kidding. Wish I could have swapped my truck's body for theirs and then they could have done their thing.

I'd love to take my truck thru there someday

The rubicon in about 45 minutes from my house. I’ve been through it several times in my razor. Unless I were going for the easiest lines possible, I wouldn’t take any vehicle that I value the body on, lol

That said, part of the reason I like going is to check out the other rigs.

I just watched it. damn they hammered that thing. slightly nauseating--I think they could've started with something that had a hammered body already.

It's a fun show to watch, but yea, it wasn't a straight panel left on that truck. I pay 4.99 per month for the Motor Trend app, Dirt Every Day and so many other shows like Engine Masters and Roadkill can be enjoyed anytime. Best five bucks I spend every month.

I agree... total dorks. This stupid ass show only makes the uninitiated think even less about us 'truck guys'.

Even though my truck is pretty capable I'd just take the easy lines to enjoy the trail and check out the other rigs along it. Breaking parts and ruining a truck takes all the fun out of it.

The previous owner, a rancher, already dented pretty much every single panel on my truck. And what isn't dented is rusting now. Around here they don't plow the roads anymore- they just slather down the de-icer instead. You can almost watch the rust grow on things.

I beg to differ, Fred Williams the front man of Dirt Every Day is the editor of 4Wheel and Offroad magazine. ORD, Off Road Design is the main sponsor of the show. Those two companies have done a lot for us truck guys and have drawn countless numbers of enthusiasts to the off roading lifestyle. Old trucks get tore up everyday. That keeps a lot of other companies in business.

I may have been a bit over the top saying this show doesn't hep our image... we're guilty of that every time we spontaneously 'lose traction' with our big
blocks.
Still, it was at the least more of 'carnage porn' than anything else.
And I will still think Fred and his gang of beta males are dorks, but what do I know... I'm not a feminist.
