want to lower 74 C20

I want to know how low I can drop my c20 without having to do a front disc brake conversion. I want to keep the drums for now, but from what I've read you cannot use drop spindles with drum brakes. Please give me your thoughts.

For real??? is a 74 C20 front drum brakes? I sure thought by 73, front disk brakes were standard equipment. Learn something new everyday.
