Got the drivers bucket seat installed. Was able to use some bench seat brackets from a 78-80 I think. I elgonated the front holes an extra inch and they bolted right on.

Now I need to find another set of bench seat brackets with side release to finish off the passenger side and that maybe difficult..

Anyone got a set they want to send me :D

Mmmkay
3 times this month I've had to retune the truck
Bout after 40 miles it starts dieseling
Distributor hasn't moved but it seems my rotor likes to advance itself at the end of the week
Any ideas?

Really trying not to
It's all brand new
Set it up when I put the stock manifold on it and ran fine for about a month no issues
But seems as if maybe the slack in my timing chain may be torquing it a bit
Only thing I could think of cuz it will be fine and then slowly start to diesel throughout the week

Check the weights and springs under the rotor to see if they move freely. Next? While looking at the timing tab... Does the timing bounce around or is it stable on one number?

I will check tonight when I wake up
Just seems that once it'd on tdc on cyl 1 compression the tab says 0degrees
I usually just turn the cap till it's in time again
I guess new weights are in it's future since those are original

Do you use a timing gun?

Nope
Don't have one
I'd get one if it wasn't rent week lol
It also doesn't want to start
Like the starter is binding up
It's shimmed and tight
Just has issues like a dead battery but battery is at 12.6 when trying to start
