Mine are taking over my metal man doors to my shop. People can't tell if I'm a Holley nut, an AR nut, a. . . .
Got no idea what you are replying too. Hit the reply button and type underneath the quote that comes up.

Same old problem. Shame they don't edit the program to dump the one respond option that leaves everyone wondering.

The response was to the stickers taking over the underside of a tool box lid.

Make it a habit and you won't need to blame something that works just fine.

Want to guess what I try to do?

Since you know the site operation like the back of your hand, why are there two quotes, one with a plus and one with a back arrow?

And there is no "REPLY" button. Below is the only thing that shows in your post.

The "Quote" with the back arrow is the reply button and the other is for multiple quotes when you want to quote or reply to more than one person in a single post.

An interesting point, Travlr. as the cut and paste I made, above, indicates, there is no way for me to respond without hitting one of the Quote buttons.

It would seem hitting the multiple "reply" button would, at least, point to the post we are on, pages back, or, at worst, point to at least two posts we tangled with recently, rather than ignoring everything. It's an "IF THEN" programming thing someone had to work hard to get in place. . . .

From MY years in the computer world (starting back around 71), both professionally (repairs, for the feds), and with regard to using them as private tools, it's hard to dismiss corner cutting programming that devalues itself by making the program less efficient, or trustworthy.

For example, the Bill-Gates-Of-Hell crowds constant updates to their bloatware to fix things that were better than the fix. Things like: (1) having to click several buttons to do what, before, required only one; (2) having to jump through several hoops to open managers to allow you to organize via clicks and drags between folders; (3) corrupted drivers that blow through the screen you are working out of taking your right back to the home screen;

SIDE NOTE: I've re-loaded the drivers and even Windows.

When I bought my Blazer, the PO had a couple of intermittent modules and a switch. He said his guy couldn’t make it work. I finally dug in and fixed and installed them. Turns out the pot for the variable delay was gunked up. A little love and it now works fine.

There is that blank field at the bottom of the page that says Write your reply.

But being a sometimes fast-paced forum the context might get lost if you don't respond fast enough or quote what you're responding to.

In my "wheelin excursion" a couple weeks ago I have evidently upset some of the almost 50 year old wiring. I had Motley Crew doing the violent hop while pulling the sand trap and now the headlights and charging system are not working. It started (no pun intended) with an issue with the starter, then the positive cable, then the battery. I don't believe that the alternator has gone out as well but I do have 12v supply and 9v signal. I'm probably gonna be fishing for wiring behind the distributor and engine to find the cause. Swell...

The PO cut into the dash for a DIN radio. I'm fine with that in general, but it makes it hard to do any procedures requiring dash bezel removal. Since my bezel was already fairly trashed I decided to modify it to allow me to remove most of it without disturbing the DIN sleeve.

Now that I know how to do it, I'll make the same mod when I replace this one with a nice one.

That reminds me, I have a new bezel waiting on me to mod it for my din sleeve too. When I did the current one, I cut the opening a little too big, wanna do a better job next time and hopefully make use of the trim bezel for the radio too

I received a Summit Racing gift card awhile back and needed to spend it on something for the Suburban. My current fuel pressure regulator is mounted on the passenger side inner fender. It has been in there quite some time so I decided a refresh was needed in both the regulator and the location of same. The parts from Summit arrived today (Aeromotive regulator/couple of Earl's fittings/Auto Gage FPG/Eddy fuel line) so I had to do a mock up a bit ago. This way I will just have fuel line from the pump to the regulator instead of from the pump to the fender/regulator then a line from there to the carb. Install exercise will happen when the morning weather cooperates...
