I can't seem to find where this vacuum line attaches (image 1), or what is supposed to clip in to this orange connector near the brake booster (image 2)

That hose goes to a T at the bottom of the carb on drivers side. Note arrow C. It Ts off the EGR port.

orange is a test port for transmission.

Vacuum hose is from the TIP IN vac switch for Electronic Spark Control.- i believe it takes full manifold vacuum. it is for ESC to adjust distributor (depending if the distributor was changed - it might not be needed)
