Bought as a non running father daughter project. Truck now runs very well but I need to do some touch up work on the paint and I am not sure what color this is. Any help is appreciated.

Welcome from Ga! That's a beautiful truck! I don't know that that's a factory color, but you should have a small 3x2" or so sticker in the glovebox with a bunch of codes on it. Take a pic and post that up, we can help decode it

Welcome from Missouri. A good paint and body supply can scan and match the color of your truck.

The benefit of having it scanned and matched versus going strictly by a code (if it is an OE color) is it should match very closely. Going by paint codes alone can allow for some variance for numerous reasons, not really an issue if doing a complete respray, but for panel work or touch up it it can be.

Welcome from VA. Awesome Crew Cab- Dooley. If it's not a factory color, it looks dang good, anyway.
If it is a factory color, I would like to know what it's called.

This.

We need the paint code off the SPID label (Service Parts ID label) if you have it.

The truck in the photo:

Are you calling that an '84 C30?

Because -

1 - it's got a later front end on it (like 89-91).

2 - looks like manual locking hubs sticking out the front wheel caps which would make it a K30.

In either case I'm thinking it's had some work done which does not make me optimistic that it's a factory color for the original model year.

Sharp looking truck. I agree with @legopnuematic above. A paint scan will get you a solid match, and account for photochemical reaction and all the other that happens to paint with age. The manufacturer's paint code is unlikely to give you a match at this point. Meaning that if you touch up any parts of the truck or even paint a whole panel, the odds of it looking weird are pretty good.

Also agree with @Keith Seymore that that ain't a garden variety '84 truck. No disrespect intended; it's just clearly been altered.
