Looking at buying some rims and tires off Offerup and the bolt pattern is in 8x165.1.
Will these fit on my 8x6.5 lug pattern?
Thanks in advance

Do you know what the wheels were on?
The 8 lug pattern is the same on GM trucks through 2010; after that they went to a wider metric pattern. Ford and Dodge made the change somewhere in that timeframe as well. I know the Hummer H2 factory mags will fit the OBS truck so they'll also fit a square body. Those are 17" diameter and the GMT 800 series PY0s are 16" so they can still work with a stock size range tire.
This picture is the PY0 with the OBS center cap, was on an OBS Crew Cab I saw at work one day. Got a picture of it with my truck, since I don't often see two of the longboys together.....

They are aftermarket wheels that came off a 1997 Ford F250. I know when Ford made the Super Duty they changed the lug pattern so I think I’m safe. Just wanted to make sure

The Ford wheels may have a different offset. I was looking at an 8 lug Ford truck today with some of their factory alloys, similar to the "bullet hole" style with rivets around the edges of the wheel center. The Ford full floater axle doesn't have the hub offset that the GM one does, so the hub sticks out further and the surface where the lug nuts sit may be a different offset or distance in relation to the brakes and leaf springs. Just something to look at....

165.1mm = 6.5"

Verify the hub hole diameters. Dodges have about a 1/4" larger diameter hub hole than the Chevys. Can't recall how fords stack up to the others regarding that.

Dodge (or Ram) are still using 8x6.5(165.1) bolt pattern on the 2500/3500 trucks.

Rather than start a new thread, any idea what 8x6.5/8x165.1mm 17" factory rims would fit on a Square? And by "Fit", I'm mostly referring to backspacing. I think Dodge after ~2010 went to much deeper backspacing, I know GM never offered the 8x6.5 in anything other than 16.5 and 16, but tire choices for both are pretty lacking these days and getting worse, and I'd like to avoid spacers if I can.

Hummer H2 wheels are 8x6.5 and 17” and they fit nice on squares. I think they are about 5.5” backspacing.

2003+ Ram 2500/3500’s went to 17” standard, not sure on the backspacing, but there are a few variants of steel and alloy stocks.

They did offer a 17" steel rim in the later years of the old bolt pattern on the trucks. But they are hard to find. I could not find a set for my van.

I'm not a fan of the H2 looks, but it might be the best option for cheaper 17's :/
I may just have to find some dodge rims in that age range and measure/test fit to see.

And @bucket I never knew that, but it probably explains why I've never seen them.

That was the original question, but I morphed it into "what stock 17's will work?". Yeah, I think anytime there's millimeters with a decimal on a car, its because it's actually inches but somebody said "We're doing metric now"...

Ok makes sense. 3rd and 4th gen Ram alloys are a great cheap option. 17s to 20s in lots of styles.
As I don’t really like H2 or PYO wheels I’d be looking at Dodge / Ram for cheap nice takeoffs.
They are all positive offset (sorry @bucket) wheels so they tuck in more but I wouldn’t expect any fitment problems unless real wide tires maybe.
