I just bought my 1987 silverado. It has these two push pull knobs located just to the right of the steering wheel. Also has two round red led lights under the dash. The truck has a 350 with edlebrock intake and carb, no EFI with factory A/C. I looked on the carb for maybe a choke cable but choke is electric. Please help me with this one. Thanks!

You gotta run the wires down and see, it doesn't appear to be factory to me.

Welcome from Austria. Trace the wires. Post pics of your truck.

Intro with pics complete.... well I took Yall's advice. Seems both cables run to each side of the truck just in front of each fuel tank. Not hooked to anything.... either fuel or exhaust??

If the truck has a SM465 transmission in it, those cables could have been for a PTO, or a previous owner thought about installing one. One cable for on/off and another for direction.

Not sure yet.
I was leaning toward manual locker cables but they do seem a bit small. Possibly exhaust cutouts as mentioned. Not sure why the red light if it's for exhaust cutout... I would think one would know.
