76 Orange paint code

I'm needing a paint code for my truck so I can get some paint mixed up. I initially thought Tangier orange, but that's not it. Too light.

Soooo many memories... That was the paint scheme on Dad's '76 K20 when I was a kid. His might have been a little more of a burnt orange color though.

Gracian bronze is a metalflake. I believe my truck is a fleet orange from 75

Grecian bronze is a little more burnt and brown imo.

The box was a respray and the doors a different respray.

I don’t see any other orange besides Tangier for 76.
Could be a fleet color but imo not likely on a fancy trim 2 tone.
Hit the easy button. Find the best example of the color, like the piece under the steering wheel and go get it matched.
Online places will do it too if you don’t want to take out a second mortgage at the auto body supply store. Tamco matched my paint. Sent them that little trim piece, got a gallon of perfect match base coat and my trim piece back.

There is a small metal dash panel right above your knees under the steering wheel, and it’s only held on with about 4 screws.

Remove that panel, which should be less faded than the rest of the truck, and take it in to be color matched. I’m not sure if a paint store can match it to a 1976 GM truck color and tell you the color code, but they can definitely give you a mix of current paint that will match.

My 75 K10 with the exact same paint scheme says Option 161L Grecian Bronze on the glove box label.

My 76 K15 is code 73 Crimson Red & 12 Frost White.
