So I went out today, in the rain of course, and I found my wipers inop. I verified the motor was good by providing ground to the appropriate terminal and got the wipers to work.... Any advice would be appreciated...
TIA

You're not that leftist cartoonist are you?

Anyway, welcome aboard and sorry if this seems obvious, but did you check the fuse? Or did you mean there was positive available from the fuse block because you got it to run with ground?

I am not the cartoon guy.... although I may have heard that before!!!!
And I do have power to the wiper motor. If I jump s ground to the appropriate terminals I can get the wipers to work.
So this tells me that the switch is not supplying the needed ground???

Sounds about right. My understanding is the wiper motors are controlled through ground. But you should probably check out the manuals section of the site for a schematic.

P.S.
I looked it up the cartoonist after my post. He spells Gary wrong, so I figured it wasn't you.
