Unlikely. The Ranger is a mini truck, like a Toyota. It’ll certainly fit in your bed because yours is bigger but it’ll be noticeably short / narrow and the kickers probably won’t reach your wheel tubs.

1988 would have been a small truck, so it won't fit. In the early 70's Ranger was a trim level on the Full-size line.
