Who still has this keychain?

Today DOD (Dear ol' Dad) gave me the second (mom's) set of keys to the 82, so i swapped his old set (one original door key plus a cole remake circa 1988)

but this truck still has the keychain with it on the back inscribed is "Drop in any Mail box"

Now i am curious if dropped in a mail box would it still get sent back to my dad's address>

I had one to a GMC at one time. Not sure I stll do.

I don't remember seeing those before. I do remember the plastic spare keys though, to keep in your wallet.

I still have the one that I got from the original owner of my Monte. Anyone have any more general information on these things?

So does anyone have an original unused set of keys? I do! Center part where the ring goes thru still is not violated, and it still has the dealer tag identifying what truck they belong to.

I just picked up some NOS J & K blanks on ebay for like $6 i'll head to the parts store later and have another "original" set made

At one time we had a pair of these chains, i'm sure if i got to junk digging i'd find the other.

the Master lock key is the spare tire lock i think came with the truck,

I don't have any old keys but Ive had the same gold clip for my keys that I got in 1980 when I was 12, I still use it today.

I got this style that says gmac and says drop in any mail box postage guarenteed on the back

We may have a few of those GMAC rings in a box or drawer here somewhere. Growing up Dad had the same 82 for 18 years for a personal truck (he always had company trucks) but mom got a new vehicle every 2 years or about and always a Chevrolet.

I remember mom having the Cougar but after that she was all chevrolet
86 Cav, 87 S10 Blazer, 89 Astro, 90 S10 Blazer, 92 Astro, 93 Cav Convertable 95 Lumina in 2000 she ended up with an Impala. The whole time dad keeping the 82 i have now.

Neatest dealer give away was the Heartbeat of America wind breaker the dealer gave us.

When I got my 85 from my uncles estate it had that keychain. I contacted GM to see if I could be transferred to that number on the tag. I was told they no longer have that PO box and keys sent to that place got tossed...

We got both styles when mom bought a 1985 Chevette. I guess it was financed through GMAC.
