I’m doing a color rustoleum calls “smoke gray”...it way the only gray color in a gallon of rustoleum professional. I’m going to paint my headache rack and flush mount weather guard with it, too. Maybe the grill as well depending on how light it looks when dry. I don’t want the grill to look very dark. I might pick up a pint of gloss white to mix into the gray for the grill.

Nice! That’s a lot lighter than it looked on the can. I’ll be happy with that. I think I’m going to redo my accessory brackets with it now as well.

Mine came to me with the black wall showing.

But when it is time to replace them, they will have the white letters out.
As well as a new fresh paint job and some of the dress up items I have seen in this thread to make them look finished.

My wife's Suburban wears them white letters out as well.

I think on small cars they look better with the black walls showing.

After much deliberation on my part over the wheel color, etc. I decided to buy some alloys for the majority of my use and I’m going to mount a more aggressive tire on the steelies for winter hunting trips. I have property further north that has some big mud holes in the winter I like to drag the toys to. Although I’ve been defaulting to my SXS lately.
