Where is the ALT idiot light on 1988 burb?

If everything traces the same, it will work just fine. I've seen that style before, but don't recall the exact application.

Not for a clock though. The clock has it's own harness that plugs into the fuse panel.

If a wire passes through the bulkhead, does it go through the fuse block, or do some bypass? 99% sure some bypass…just can’t wrap my head around why I can trace the wire to the bulkhead on the engine bay side, but nothing in the cab.

Besides a something obvious like a pinched wire or a bad bulb, what would cause my check engine light to not illuminate anymore?

Both battery’s negative terminals were disconnected the entire time I was doing work behind the dash and it worked before I pulled it apart.
