Another problem I am going to correct is the carb on my 86 K20. Currently running an edelbrock 750 vac secondary on it that has off idle hesitation, every one I've ever had seemed to have a crap idle circuit. Another issue seems they don't like ethanol, have to clean/rebuild almost yearly because of corrosion in the bowl and seems to eat up any rubber in there.
My whole setup is 37" tires, 4.10's, TH400 stage 1 shift kit and Hayes converter, 383 external balance, original dyno was 435hp new. Has flat tops, iron 64cc chambered 2.02's, mild Edelbrock performer rpm cam, performer rpm air gap and a bumped up Accel HEI for spark.
I am looking at either a Holley 0-80770 770CFM Street Avenger or a holley 0-95770 aluminum truck avenger 770 CFM, both are Vacuum secondary, electric choke.
Has anyone ran one of the Truck avengers yet?
